I'm so damned excited. As of Wednesday night I now own every L5R book (except Four Winds, but that thing is expensive!). Thank you AJ for my wonderful Birthday gifts! Your the greatest! It's so very satisfying to know that my players can now more easily make epic characters from every clan, use all advanced schools, all paths, build a minor clan character, a naga character, a ronin character, or even an Imperial character with the collection I now have! Oh, the possibilities are endless.

It almost makes me want to start the game from scratch, so all my PC's can review all the awesome possibilities before deciding....oh well, Bill will get that chance I suppose.

So, I went to the dentist this morning and I found out I have a gum infection due to my wisdom tooth coming in. My dentist prescribed me antibiotics and I have to go in next Tuesday and have both my upper wisdom's pulled. Luckily, my teeth are wonderfully intact so he can do it without me being sent to an oral surgeon. Good news: I can still play next week (I think?) because the are only going to use novocain. Bad News: They are going to use novocain! I'm terrified! I think I'm more frightened to have teeth ripped out while awake rather than being knocked out.

Oh well, this does mean I can play tonight and next Tuesday (hopefully).

So this is to let everyone know....particularly the gaming group, I might not be able to play Tuesday night. On Wednesday I started developing a painful sore behind my wisdom tooth. By Friday afternoon I could only open my jaw wide enough to fit a fork in so I called my dentist.

I have an appointment Tuesday morning and if I have a dangerous abscess they might send me to the oral surgeon ASAP, possibly that very same day...Yeah, can't GM if I've had 4 teeth ripped out. I'm terrified right now.

I will have stuff ready to be played in case I don't have teeth pulled, but...My dentist is very aggressive about getting things done and he squeezed me in on short notice, so I already have a feeling he's concerned.

Wish me luck...oh gods I'm a wreck....lol and now I'm whining.

Yeah. So I get to work tonight with no sleep after going to bed late and waking early for the past two days to hear the magic words every float loves to hear. "Would you like to go home?" and before I could take three steps towards the door where visions of beds, pillows and AJ snugglin' awaits I get called back in. "Can you work til 3?" Hell, yes! Cause the vision wasn't gone just delayed. So then maybe you can imagine my horrified expression when I come out of a room at 2:50 and hear the nurse say "I begged the Supervisor and now you can stay with us until 7!"
I want to cry. I want to scream. I want to complain and whine. Well, I guess I am, but not at the people I feel deserve to hear it. Twice in one night I had Home dangled in front of me, only to have it ripped out from under me.
I just have to keep telling myself, "I'm lucky to have a job at all."

I just had a dream in which you became possessed by Evil Biggie Smalls, spent most of the time chasing me trying to murder me, and made me have to, um... Shoot you in the head. And while you lay there dying I realized, while I had indeed stopped the Evil Biggie from killing me, I had killed you in the process...

Woke up crying... Then once the fear wore off, I lol'd. Evil Biggie Smalls demon? Maybe I should have preformed an exorcism....
